Priceless

While test driving a 07 sahara Jk, no intentions of buying just wanted to see what some of the hype was all about.

Me got denied waves from 2 Jks, both woman.

And the best was the one hell of a dirty look from a lifted Tj..... Priceless.

I own a Tj and I now see the hate out there.

Beautiful jeep though very big and seemed the same as far as power goes, it was a 6 speed.

As someone who has owned all flavors of Jeeps, (now an unlimited JK) I don't understand the animosity towards JKs. Yes there is a lot of plastic inside and the engine should be more powerful, but it is still a Jeep. This JK is much more capable than my CJ-5 or YJ (by far more than the '88 YJ, which was a piece of crap). I think it is based on all the non-off road yupppies and mall crawlers who buy them and do not understand the heritage or Jeep community.

It just did not feel like a jeep to me, I could
not imagine wheeling the Jk. I'll say it again, the Jk is a very nice "car" IMO. I owned a Yj for 4 yrs before my Tj and I wasn't like wow thing think is so much different but the the Tj, it was a very big change from the Yj pretty much a whole new design, but it still is a jeep. The Jk was so like driving a regular car I'm sure if you put the v6 in the Tj you would feel a difference as far as power, I did not look at the Jks weight but it seemed very heavy. I really don't know what Chrysler should of done, things have to change but.... dunno...... bring on the 12 (2012)
