Pride of owning a Jeep

I always noticed when driving down the road or highway people on motorcycles regardless of type they always gave the head nod or a simple wave as they passed by......

I've noticed in the last week the Jeep owners do that as well...., is this the norm everywhere or is it just because I'm on a military base?

strange. I never get a wave in return. the last 3 jeeps either a) didn't see me or b) don't know to. lol, but I do anyway. when I had my motorcycle, EVERY bike waved.
