Actually when looking at my jeep wall (a tack board that I put all my receipts and a list of the desired jeep mods. I am at about a 3 thousand dollars so far on receipts and the want list we wont even add that up right now. So I after a discussion with her I noticed that I have spent a bit on the jeep. The point I got was she wanted to be noticed and she got noticed

And we have the big winner of the day. Odhinn gets the prize for figuring it out.

I think it's perfectly acceptable for my wife to spend way more than me for haircuts and clothes. She's gotta put up with me, and that earns her those perks.

Bingo, I figure it all evens out. Since I shave my head I only have to spend about 20 bucks every 6 months on new hair clippers. So who cares if she spends a couple hundo on a new do every couple months. Because if she's happy then my jeep and I are happy.

I totally agree with you Odhinn but in the end the money for your "lift, wheels etc" is somewhat still there while your wifes hair needs to be redone Simply you get to keep what you payed for.

Yeah, that all came out in our discussion. She was also jealous because there are so many mods made for my Jeep and none for her Acura. I think she wants a Jeep now but it would be a pavement pounder. Couldn't even think about outfitting 2 wranglers at once right now, this one has emptied my pockets already.

One more thought on this......
Now that I have my Jeep...those expensive hair do's, clothes/shoe shopping sprees, jewelry, etc.....have taken a back seat. You have no idea how that money once spent on a bi-weekly pedicure adds up Who wears sandles wheel'n anyway?

I once told the girls at work, if I didn't have a Jeep, I could be dripping in diamonds with the money I've spent!!

Odhinn, 2 more tests and I'm done!!! Graduation!!....send positive thoughts my way

Thanks, yours is very cool also. I've been trying to figure out if your was 2 foxes or a fox jumping over a sheep. It has been a facination of mine (the avatar, not the sheep or the foxes, just so I don't step into something), lol

Very cool. I assume it is a doctored photo. If it is real I would have been laughing so hard I would have dropped the camera if I had taken one like that.

Even being faked, it makes me giggle. If it were real, I think the sheep would have more of a surprized look on it's face.

Like a coyote's just jumped over him, I imagine.

I think it's real , you should see what squirrels are up to when they think you aren't looking. And rabbits, they're shifty too.

I will not spend more than $100 on haircut/hair color. My sister pays her hairstylist $110 (San Antonio) and I pay mine $65 (El Paso). I'd rather to spend $150 on something that lasts longer. However, I confess I go to the salon every 4-6 weeks not only to have my hair done but have my legs waxed. Total over $110 not including the tip.

I guess I am just spoiled, been shaving my head for years now with a clippers that I bought 10 years ago. Before that I use to spend 10 dollars tip included. ARRGGG I'm sounding like my parents again.

Does your head look anything like this, Odhinn?

Hubby's been shaving his head for about 2 years.

Pretty close. I go skin tight and use a razor most of the time but get lazy every once in a while. Right now I have a fuzzy head, all except for the top no razor needed there.

I can't believe that the men on this forum keep getting involved in a thread about women going to the beauty shop.

You guys better start scratching and spitting, before I have to disown yall.
