Rain

Yesterday was the first time it has rained since I got my jeep. I left the house around 5:00 am, headed to work, after it had been raining most of the night. Opened the door, got in, and as I was closing the door... what seemed like 5 gallons of water poured off the top of the soft top... Never thought I would be taking a shower in my jeep!

happens to me every time it rains! i have gotten it down to opening the door and jumping in fast and slamming the door...then wait for it to come down.

the worst was once I totally forgot about the pool up top, I opened the door and leaned in to grab something out of the console and the weight of me leaning on the driver side was enough to get the water running my direction...down my back

what part of MO are you in?

When it's cold, it's guaranteed to go right down the back of your neck!

this was done with a 1 inch pvc with a 3 inch t cut in half. the OP said he made it tight so the 1'inch bar is real bowed. i have seen several do this and they paint it or cover it in foam so u cant see it so much..

ya its super easy. you can get some black foam that goes around air conditioning pipes at lowes for 3.00 that will hide the white. i guarantee this works
