Reason for Jeeping

My Jeep is a weekend vehicle for my wife and I. Today here in central Florida it was picture perfect. Sunny skies, breezy and upper 60's.

We loaded up the dog and took off around 1100am. I had the roof on, but left the sides off. We drove around for about three hours in the western Ocala area checking out some forest trails and Lake Dorr park and campground. Really doing nothing but exploring, eating peanuts, drinking ice tea........and relaxing.

With it being in the upper 60's, while driving it was cool, I just let the heater blow and it was perfect!

We stopped at a store in Altoona to up our supplies (peanuts/tea) and chatted with some RV'ers, motorcyclists and cyclists before moving on.

I'm posting this only because of how fun Jeeps are .....just being out and driving......exploring.....talking with others......and doing nothing!

Enjoy your Jeeps.

Pretty much this ^^^. Almost every one of my hobbies requires me to get to places that are off the blacktop. A jeep is as good a way as any to get there..

Just got back from taking the spousal unit out on some BLM land near Sloan NV to our favorite target shooting area. Sunny, light breeze, and mid-60's. Jeeping, shooting, and spending time with my honey. It's what it's all about...
