Recieved award today

Actually it was just an email. The award is dated 5 December 05, just before we left to come home. Took a little while to catch up I guess. My platoon in Iraq was assigned to an USAF Security Forces Battalion along with a couple other army units. We have received the USAF Meritorious Unit Award for perormance of duties in contingency operations in SW Asia. My first award from another service. Cool. Now I just have to find out if I can wear it with my army awards.

I'm fairly certain that you can.

Congrats! I have that same medal. I was in the Air Force, but it is especially cool for you. I think it's awesome.
