reminder to think ahead..lol

last night, a friend of mine from my jeep club and i were heading to wendys for a bite to eat. on the way, i had to stop for some gas. and heres where my mistake becomes obvious

a couple days ago, i mounted my CB antenna to the left rear bumperett on my YJ, and i mounted it to the left side of that left bumperett not even thinking about the fact that on YJs, you have to have room to pull down the lisence plate to get to the gas cap..lol.....duh me..lol

i had absolutely no room to pull it down. so, there we were, at speedway, wrenching on it to take it off just so i could put gas in it. i Just so happened to conveniently leave the exact wrenches in my jeep instead of throw them back in my tool box after i was down mounting the antenna.

anyways, it gave casper a good laugh, along with every one at the gas station.lol

like i said, its just a reminder to think ahead.

also, this should be on the "you know your a real jeeper when" list

lol..the sad thing is, im not a rookie

lol..yea...its never been more of a hassle to get gas tho...took me longer to get it off and put it back on then it did to fill the tank..lol

but, today i relocated the mount/antenna to the rear of the same bumperett, leaving plenty of space for the lisence plate to come down
