What does she like? What she considers romantic will be totally different than what someone else might. What might remind her of a great day, date, or vacation you guys had together? If you haven't figured out yet what makes your girl tick, you've got some work to do man

I agree, hard to say with out knowing what she is into.. i would like parts for my jeep or a day at the range etc. Other girls might want a mani pedi and spa day..

You can never go wrong with jewelry. Just be sure that if you get her jewelry it's not super different from what she already wears. I'm a minimalist type of gal - stud earrings, a single stone or pearl pendant, that type of thing...but every time a guy has gotten me jewelry it's giant dangling earrings or a clunky necklace. Then I have to wear it. :/

If she's into bath and body stuff this is fantastic: LUSH

Ooh, which one did you get her? I might have to order a couple of gift boxes for myself - it's as addicting as Jeep mods (but much cheaper and disappears faster).

If she's a little adventurous - make your own private geo caching hunt- put one of these little treasures out and make a day of it.

Personally my list of birthday pampering:
Pedicure (love designs on toes)
Salt scrub at the spa
Couples massage at spa is nice too
Dining at my fav spot

~~~~
Ex boyfriend rented a cabin in the snow that had hot tub.
Soap and bodywash is always a good, from specialty places like truzzis.com. I've made my wife a book of pictures like at blurb.com and included inside jokes, poems and quotes from her favorite songs, chicks dig that sentimental stuff
If she's a bit adventurous make your own private geocaching with a treasure at each location and make a day of it.
Some of my favorite things:
Pedicure at fav salon - yes it makes a difference. Don't forget we like designs
Salt scrub at spa
Couples massage is relaxing and romantic
Hand written love letter ( rare and really treasured).
Gift certificate for MAC, Macy's, Ulta
ohh shoe shopping - help her pick out sexy boots for the winter.
Chooka rain boots (so cute)
Brand philosophy -body lotion - fragrance "unconditional love".
Chocolate dipped strawberries totally easy to make - they now have plug in pots for it. Do it together - buy her Jammie's - depending upon what she likes - could be silky or cotton lol & get yourself some as well lol. Set the tone with music and lighting and dip various fruit together and have fun -
Not romantic - but will get you brownie points - have her car detailed.
Finish a project around the house that has been put off
I started this fun project - I got a map of California - map pins very large framed corkboard and we pin every place we go together. I then make mini photos of us from many of these locations and pin on the board - we look forward to doing this together after weekend getaways and it helps plan where we want to see next.
~~~~
Seriously- a two page hand written letter from my boyfriend telling me how important I am to him and how his life has changed over the past 2 years .... Write from your heart the things that ramble in your head. It brings tears when I read it.
