Who owns one? What do you think of it?

What it lacks in stopping power is made up with quantity. 17 rounds in the mag and one in the pipe. I'm a .45 guy, personally, but to each his own. Ruger is a mid to lower end weapon, but seem to be very reliable and shoot relatively accurately......of course, accuracy depends on the shooter, you know. If the price is right, I say go for it, if that's the weapon you want.

I've never owned a Ruger that wasn't dependable. They have all been good weapons. Being a new gun though, I'd like to see some 1st hand experiences with it.

Make sure that it is fixed per the recall they had about 9 months ago. I like Ruger, but to each his own.

x2. They had a recall out, so make sure it was fixed. I have never found a Ruger that fit my hand well, but they are decent firearms. I REALLY don't like the trigger on the SR9 though.

Rugers in general do not hold value.
X2 on trigger

All new production SR9's have the new trigger. Very easy to look right at it to tell. Has the same style trigger/safety as the Glocks.

Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with ya on that one. I've owned Rugers... Haven't lost a dime on any of them.

Ok... Just so we know, yes there was a recall. Thats not the issue. I want to hear from someone that has shot the gun. I'm not overly interested in heresay... I know all of that stuff already.
