Sorry to hear about the news. Losing a dog is hard. Lost my Dane November of '10. Still think about that big dumb goofy mutt.

Hope things get better for you quickly.

so very sorry for the loss of you dog.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge...

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...

I'm sorry Firehawk, I know how hard it is to lose a pet. It will get easier as time goes by. Stay strong.

I'm sorry for your loss. My wife had to put our big sweetie to sleep while I was in Afghanistan last year.

Sorry for your loss. We have a 15 year old lab that was diagnosed with cancer three years ago. Damn old girl just won't give up! Still sort-of enjoys riding in the YJ.

As a current Weiner Dog owner, I offer my sincere condolences. I have had 2 previous Weiners cross over the Rainbow Bridge and know how difficult it can be. They do truly become members of the family.

I feel your pain dude, I really really do. So sorry for your loss, I lost my 8 year old dachsuand 2 years ago. Me and my little weenie buddy "Tater" were walking around the back side of my pond when a 7' diamondback rattlesnake popped him on the front shoulder. Tater died during the night, the vets tried everything to save him. I cried like a baby for days, even teared up for weeks just thinking about it . Time will ease the pain for you but hang on to the memories. Today I have 3 weenie dogs, what was I thinking? It's like trying to discipline two year children. Love em though and wouldn't take nothing for them, all 3 are boys and I named them from character names of my favorite tv comedy, The Andy Griffith Show. I named one Barney, the chubby one I named Otis, and the third one is named Goober. Please accept my sympathy.

Sorry for your loss.

They are great dogs but I didn't always thinks so. Many, many years ago one bit me damn close to the jewels when I was collecting for my paper route.

Fast forward decades... My son wanted one. Named him Buddy. He can drive.
