Over the years (5) I have let myself go drastically quit working out no more cardio and even changed jobs from a physically demanding one to one that requires no physical fitness. Now if I have the doors and top off I find myself being self concious (mispell). Anyone else the same way or is it just me? oh and save the get back to working out bs I am now started with dieting and cardio soon with weights to follow.

Let it become an inspiration instead of a detriment. Nothing relieves stress more for me than a drive with no top or doors.

The worst part, for me at least, is after gaining a few pounds and being over 40, I seem to sweat from the most odd places. I by no means have man-boobs, but that's the first area to soak a shirt. I guess it's more upper belly sweat. Of course, it could be that it seems like it's 200 outside every day here lately.

I'd rather be old, fat and happy driving around topless/doorless than be young, trim & driving a prius!

I feel ya. Suffered through social phobia all my life- not all that bad driving, in a crowded room forget it. I've gotten better with age. I never really had an issue in the jeep, I welcomed the looks

Or young driving a Civic, that's neon green-- hat on backwards, trying to impress his girl and make her believe his car is fast because he just smoked my slow doorless Jk on the highway

When I'm toplees and doorless, I haven't got a care in the world. So peaceful and relaxing cruising with the wind in what little hair I have left.

I hear ya. Went from installing satellite systems for business and residential to office job. I've gained a bit of a gut. I usually drive with my elbow in my lap with my hand on the bottom part of the steering wheel, pending on which way the wind shear is coming.

Has motivated me enough to sign up for a gym membership now.

Exactly. Who cares what the "cage" drivers think?

I earned this gut.

Yep, I let myself go after taking a desk job and put on 60lbs over the past 6 years.

I feel a little self conscious driving sans doors/top, but I also feel like I'm king of the freaking world. I've recently started lifting and jogging again. Let's see if I can get me back under 200lbs.

I havnt been under 200 since middle school I hit 315 a bit ago now I'm in the 290s. In HS with football boxing weights and working in concrete (foundations driveways sidewalks etc) I was 240. Never "cut up" but was definitly a yoked up guy haha.

A while back I was cruising topless/doorless thinking I was looking badass. I was driving through a shopping center when I caught a side reflection of me and my Jeep in the glass storefront. Instead of badass I was fatass.

I'm 26 and regularly run races from 5K to half marathons. Avid bass fisher as well so decent tan. The worst part for me driving with my doors off is I'm married (tho that's one of the best parts of my life) so if some lady decided to give me the eyes I couldn't follow up on it. Tho so far none have ha.

Haha I'm enjoying it while I got it. Already slowing down with wife, kid, house, job, boat, and afternoon naps.
