Semi's & cars do not mix

Bad wreck during the storms yesterday here in Florida. The related article states that the driver of the semi might not have been paying attention. Regardless my thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the deceased. It is amazing that the three people in the car in front of the jeep survived.

really? really? REALLY? your going to make that comment when two cars were squished between a moving and parked semi and there were multiple witnesses that stated the cars and semi were stopped at a red light? Why don't you go make that comment to the deceased family and see how they take it, or how about to the driver of the other semi? I take it that your a semi driver and as such is a professional driver and I respect that but I think your way off base here. Between being a cop and a firefighter I have worked several dozen wrecks involving semi truck drivers and that only once was the car at fault.

Ya I guess those vehicles were in that good ol truckers way. I bet you posted this while driving your semi truck. Heads up, you're supposed to be driving, you know, what you're paid to do safely and without causing harm to your cargo or other drivers.

First off I'm on home time. you might want to rethink. There are lots of stupid drivers out there but I'm not one of them. If u seen half of what I see you would not be so quick to say

I understand you might see a lot but I see all of the USA and have seen more then my fair amount of stupid drivers both in cars and trucks. I did not watch the vid you posted but I see that stuff more then I want to as it is. Have a good day Sir.

Ok sorry for the loss but I am on my phone and it won't show the article just 2 of the 13 pixs. So the driver of the jeep passed and the people in the car survived? I am guessing by y'alls posts. Sorry for asking just don't see hpw any of them survived. I can't imagine that's horrible. Praying for all the families involved!

And you trucks think the roads were built for you.

Your attitude here reflects the majority of the truckers attitudes on the road. No big surprise, and thank you for showing everyone here your true colors.

yall just chill out with the ripping on each other
its our job as people who drive smaller rigs than a semi to also pay attention the roads
ive had my share of wrecks and every time i see one happen i get flashbacks
just keep the lost ones in your thoughts and use the vid and description that Firecopfl posted as a reminder that no mater what crap happens and you could be next

Every day I think back to when i was in knoxville and i walked away from a wreck that was my fault..my old ford ranger looked like a pancake the frame twisted and everything was smoldering...the medics on sence told me I was a lucky S.O.B to hit a semi at speed and walk away with only a bruise and a few cuts on my arm
