Syria-NO
Libya(Bengazi) YES.

An American Ambassador was killed on sovereign American soil along with former Navy SEALs. Then the politicians that told the Generals to stand down and not respond should be taken out of office and tried in court. Generals have to be dealt with to. I'm not saying a long term war like Iraq or Afghanistan but a "F" that country up fast. Drop MOAB's, daisy cutters, and thousand pounders along with napalm. Launch cruise and tomahawks. I'm sure if a good ol' boy politician was there and in Mr. Steven's position they would want some sort of response, instead of they are mad because of a video on youtube excuse. If that's the case why didn't every other Arab nation respond the same way??

So killing 1,000 people with chemical weapons warrants a response. What about the 40,000 people that have been killed recently with conventional weapons??

In mho we need to have our men and women here in our own country. Defending us and our borders. Should we have agents and SEALS teams, rangers, etc out throughout the world? Absolutely. We need to be informed, but we need to keep our noses out of other countries business. If it impacts us, or our soldiers are killed, we need to go there for a short term, bomb the hell out of their MILITARY and LEADERS to make a point not to f with us, then get back to the main goal, defending our country. I do not look down at any of our men and women who are deployed and sent to fight other countries battles. But I do criticize the politicians who make the decision to do so. We are just making more enemies by wars and butting in. Get in, show them we arent going to take their crap, get out, defend our country. Thank you to those serving us!

Pc warning----- religious content... Lol

I don't mean to turn this into a religious thing even though I am Christian. But if you have a bible read Isaiah 17, the first few verses will put it all together.

This is VERY disturbing news. Americans should be up in arms about this, but we are too busy playing with our phones. The US Government is supposed to represent the people. Everything I've read says that less than 15% of Americans favor any sort of action in Syria. And there are a LOT of dumb ass Americans. Even most of the dumb ones know that this is a terrible idea. But what does our Government that is supposed to represent us do? Vote to go to war. It's all a steamy pile of horse shit.

What's the big deal with chemical weapons anyways? What's more horrible about them than any other sort of weapon? They are no more indiscriminate than a truck bomb in a crowded market. A chemical weapon will kill innocent people just like a bomb will. I have no doubt that exposure to a chemical weapon like serin gas or any other chem weapon is a terrible way to die. But there are PLENTY of terrible ways to die. What about getting gut shot? Getting burned? Being tortured to death or having your limbs and head cut off while you're still alive? What about having a bunch of armed men come into your village in the middle of the night and watch them hack your father to death while they savagely rape your mother and sisters before finishing them off by shoving machetes up their vaginas? Get the picture? These things are happening DAILY. Why do we draw the line at chemical weapons?

America is being ruined by this nonsense. No one president or person is to blame. Our government is to blame and therefore, I suppose Americans are to blame because we elected them. I'm 35 years old. I suspect that we will see the end of America as we know it, in our lifetimes. Very soon, in fact. I find today's news very alarming and you should too!

Unfortunately I do believe that it will. We have no business going there. I understand that peoples lives are at stake, but when you are dealing with religious fanatics who dont care about dying, its no good. WWIII will be the end. Humans will be the end of this planet.

In past mass extensions, it has been nature. Look at an extinction chart, you will see we have been the longest period, with the highest numbers of population. The last biggest population of humans to decrease was due to the bubonic plague, and that barely scratched the surface from where we are now.

It will only take two crazy sons of @&$)/"s to push most buttons. Once one goes, I have a feeling we will have more pressing the buttons. My feelings are that it will start with conventional methods, bombs, missiles, etc. when that isnt good enough, bacterias and viruses will be used, when this continues, someone will push their button followed by everyone else. My guess is there are alot more atomic and nuclear bombs all throughout the world. I dont care what NATO says, they are out there. Why wouldnt countries have them if they knew other countries did. That is foolishness.

It may be Syria that will do it first, or Israel, or Russia. Who knows, but now we are in more danger of our own citizens now more than ever with the technology out there. Our only safety net is the location of our continent.

This is bad.... Very bad...

Well, looks like lucky for us John Kerry came to the rescue and talked Russia into coming up with a plan Obama would like and subsequently single handedly saved the whole wide world. It wasn't the overwhelming desire of us, it was him. Let us make him King for his brilliance... :lamo: ...or is Mother just trying to safe face after calling out the war drummers??? Hmmmmmmm.....

YEP, I don't trust either one of them and it's really easy to add a third person into this mix, with his lack of trust and poor decision making. I wonder who that person maybe, gee wiz, I guess that I must be having a brain freeze and I just can't seem to remember his name. I know that he was talking on television last night, well I guess my Alzheimer's is acting up again and his name just escapes me..............

In my opinion, this crap started in Beirut. Sharing my experiences with my kids (both Docs) with theirs in Iraq and Afghanistan, it was made very clear same sh@$ different day. We actually evacuated the PLO who were less than gracious.
