I recently had surgery for a torn ligament, it sucks. Now I am unable to do anything around the house that involves my 2 arms. I am also off of work until December which sucks even more. I was just curious if any body else has been through this. I don't know which would be worse, shoulder or leg surgery.
Yeahp, I had ankle surgery last year where they had to screw it back in place then put a bunch of wires in to hold it in place. I sat around for four weeks not able to do anything. It sucked because it happened during baseball and I completely missed the season.
Having never had shoulder surgery, it would be hard for me to compare it to surgery on a lower extremity..........but having reconstructive surgery on my left leg/ankle/foot definitely sucked. The wheelchair, crutches, 9 different casts from battlefield to post-surgery hardboot, the constipation from the narcotics, the sleepless nights, the sleepless days, over a year of physical therapy only to be told I could no longer perform my job, then medical retirement from the Army with a BIG chunk of your taxes.
I feel you.
Hydrate.......you'll be fine.
Americans sleep safely in their beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do them harm...
Happiness is a Barrett M82A1 .50 caliber and a target at least a click out........
I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you with tears in my eyes, if you f**k with me, I'll kill you all.....
Rotator cuff is what I went in for, but they ended up working on multiple other things instead. Torn ligament, spur on my bone, arthritis, and a couple other things that I don't remember. Doc says that he does not want to push it, so that he doesn't have to re-repair it. I take his side on that. But I want to thank the well wishers, and cavediverjc, thanks for giving up your freedom of movement for our country.
