don't know were I would put it, where i could get it if i needed it...no doors no windows...no hiding places! Danged consol is so deep and full of junk, I would be in more trouble trying to get it! Ideas? Have one of those safes that goes under the seat for the suv, but it isn"t water tight, i don"t think, and the jeep floorboards are more than likely to get wet...besides, it's no good locked up, when you need it...

I wouldn't leave a gun in a vehicle unless I had absolutely no other choice. especially in a Wrangler.
As for carrying it. Check your local laws but I do believe it's legal to carry a firearm openly in your vehicle in Texas. If you don't want to wear a holster and carry it on you then you could mount one under the dash or in the driver door pocket.
