Thanks. Its been rough going having to deal with his mother that seemed more of an "egg donor" than a nurturing mother. The one I feel bad for the most as a result of the divorce was my son...but he's really making me proud.

Wow, 58 hours is a heck of a lot but I bet putting your exhaustion aside to spend time with family, and seeing them all there, made it worth it! Very happy for you being able to spend that time together.

My son and girlfriend are on their way over right now. It's his girlfriends prom tonight so they're all dressed up and want to come see my wife and I.

My kids are looking so forward to the trail tomorrow. This will be my daughter's first time wheeling. Hope to get a few more in before she moves.

I never get this. My grandpa was a great friend. I just used to hang with him. Sure do miss him though.

CAUTION, MOTHMAN STRIKES!

Hey WF Dads. I want to give you all a warning of the utmost importance.

Apparently, The Mothman is still out there and is harassing teenagers when they are home sick from school. Please take this warning seriously.

When I left for work this morning my back storm door to the deck had a screen in it, the dog's water bowl was inside, the chair was facing away from the sun, and the window on the door was open.

Now, the screen is gone except for a shred of material on the deck, the dog's bowl is outside, the frame to the screen is closed, and the chair is placed in a different direction.

Since my son has absolutely no recollection of these events and thinks I have no idea what I'm talking about, The Mothman must be back. I've seen the specials on TV and quickly determined he must be the culprit.

I urge all single WF Dads to use extreme caution when leaving their teenager home from school.

The Mothman may assault your abode as well.

When my parents moved back to Ohio from Indiana I actually conceded to having my son over every third weekend (as opposed to every other weekend) so that he could spend every proceeding third weekend with his grandparents. My son has an amazing relationship with my parents, especially my step-dad, which I am immensely thankful for.

Beep bee bee beep... this just in. The Mothman is not guilty. I repeat The Mothman is not guilty of property destruction in GA.

Upon further questioning and interrogation, the daughter left her dog on the deck and placed a bowl of water outside for him. Screen whereabouts is still unknown.

Apologies have been issued to the unknowing teenager and the public is deemed safe.

Please carry on. There is nothing to see here.

Being a Titans/Oilers fan, how cool is it that your son is at a neighbors house and sees a SI cover from last year and asks if he can have it since "The Tyler Rose" Earl Campbell is on the cover?

He brought it home to me as a gift.

I thought it was pretty cool.

You know you need a life after you're really excited that you bought a new wet/dry vacuum today.

Well I decided Thursday to head out to Southington off-road park with my son since he is over this weekend, it's the first time in since opening day three months ago that a 4X4 event fell on a weekend I didn't have to work... only to find out that my ex made an appointment to get his hair cut (which he desperately needed and wanted) today.

So we made the best of it and had breakfast at one of our favorite places and then killed some time before his appointment teaching him the fine art of manipulating a manual transmission... he did really well for his first time out.

Nice Scooba!

I was so upset when I got out to take a video of his first manual start. It was flawless (on flat ground albeit) you can hear me in the clip say "are you kidding me?"

He got out and said "so you don't think video games teach you anything?"

Touché

Yeah, all the hours he's spent on racing simulator games apparently paid off.

I had to learn to cook when it got down to me and the kids. Found out in addition to eating, I love to cook. Got so good at it, the kids put in requests for their favorite meals when they come to visit.

Soooo, my wife got to spend the weekend enjoying the fruits of my hobby.

We were both Happy, happy, happy!
