Lol, I let the pneumatic pressure be tonight. She couldn't loosen the lugs so we went over the "if you're on the side of the road use the jack to loosen scenario." After she said I'll just jump on it. No no no

He prob will, but be ready for issues. Mine always came back fighting for a week or so. Kids have trouble accepting both parents and feel caught between them. It doesn't get any better.

On a side note, my daughter is moving back with me now that she is in college. Mom has a month left to sway her mind, but she already has her own ticket....

She moved 2,100 miles away 11 months ago. It's his first time seeing her since. My 24 yo daughter is moving there in July.

I'm not a rocket scientist but I'm not stupid. Prepare and expect right.......

I just wish my son would realize what a bizzatch his mom is and come live with me. Oh well all his friends are there and hes dedicated to his soccer team. On a good note they just had their first practice for next season already. Watching him play is my most absolute favorite thing to do.

I have hopes that he'll come back and not go back out there a few weeks later.

You want to vent but then pride takes over.

Venting can be good, especially on the net with people you don't know.

Just be careful, I vented on a single parent forum where there were a lot of women - not so many single dads 15 years ago. Got me a lot of attention I didn't want.

Let's just say I was young and stupid and did all the wrong things. Didn't forget about my kids, but they got to meet a few women from around the country that flew to fl to meet me...

That won't be happening to me. No worries.

Absolutely no offense to WF ladies but I've been through the ringer on a relationship and am a happy bachelor trying to raise my son.

Im 31 and have a 10yr old daughter. There are no court ordered custody or child support (been split up for the last 8yrs). I work on tug boats so I'm gone Half the year. 3 weeks on 3 weeks off. I have her every Thursday - Sunday when I'm home and my GF takes her Friday- Sunday when I'm at sea. This way she has some consistency, she knows she's at my house every weekend. I think my GF wants us to have full custody because we're not thrilled with the eating habits and lack of exercise with her mother but we'll never get full custody.

Want to wish all the dads out there a happy Fathers Day this weekend. For those of you who don't get to see your kids and for those that do. I'm spending another Father's Day at sea but hope to talk with her tomorrow cell service permitting. I'm off the coast of Miami right now heading for Tampa.

Abit ironic to find this thread at the end of the journey. I took custody of my son at the age of 15 months and now that he has graduated he is off to the Navy. He wouldn't recognize his mother if she walked in the room, he was however blessed with a great stepmom 3 years ago.

Yup. Happy dads day to all my bruthas from anotha mutha. Had a blast with my brats at the beach. My daughter had a "Soccer in the sand" tournament. Got 3rd place overall, not bad for a group of girls whos main concern is not soccer.
