Great thread gentlemen. I lost my wife to cancer almost two years ago. Luckily she taught me alot in caring for her for while she was still with me. Out of it all, i learned that I like to cook and pretty good at it too. The hardest part is trying to be a mom to my 16 year old daughter. We get our nails done together and she jokes that they will put pink paint on my toes. I try to do something special with her once a month, like take her to a concert. She LOVES the jeep too!!! Bonus..

Very sorry to hear about your wife. Sounds like you're doing a great job with your girl.

The goal tomorrow is to knock out the remaining 9 hours of his driving requirement. Wish me and Kate (Jeep) luck please.

Nice car. My aunt had a volvo that she bought new, drove for a few years and gave to my cousin when he was 16. He is now 28, and still owns it, he bought a new camaro ss a couple years ago, and kept the Volvo as a dd. the camaro is now modded, pushing 500hp and only gets driven on weekends. Also, kudos to all you single dads. I am 25 and my dad raised me by himself since I was 2.

I haven't read every single post in this thread, but as someone that was the primary custodial parent of my son from 2 until he was 5, I know what it is like to be a single dad. Hats off to all the single dads out there.

So.... we have to go try and take the driving test in the am. Even though it's month-end and my appointment is 4 counties north next Friday. The next appointment in my county is Sept 26th.

It's a rush now.... mind you the first entry on his 40 hour driving log was 2-15-2012. Lol.

Just say'n. I had it all planned, now it's a rush.

The notary at work was out so I ran to the bank to get his driving log notarized. I noticed the guys car was gone and I only hope he was getting a title.

I will say the notary at my bank was a cutie so it was all good. Lol

Weird, i dont think my boy needed anything notarized. Eye candy is always good, especially if you walked out with her digits!

Cal: When you have the stereo and the T.V. on at the same time, how do you control the volume on the T.V.?
Ricky: Why would you have the stereo and the T.V. on at the same time?
Cal: Because I like to party.

We're sitting in line for the driving test. I told him when she gets in look at her and say "I wanna go fast!"
