small outing i had in my dads jeep

well, as i stated in my other thread, i dont have my jeep anymore, so when i went up to see my dad at White Fish Point in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, while he was at work he let me take his 1987 YJ out...

like i said in my other thread, he got it brand new in 86 and now has almost 280k on the odo. on the same unrebuilt 4.2

also, heres a pic of the beach right across the dirt road from his house. this is lake superior by the way and im shooting up towards the point for those that have been there

there sure isnt. it was kinda funny tho, bc my dad warned me that bo will jump out the window while driving down the road...lol..well, i saw a deer eating some plantation about 10 feet off the road in the woods, and i turned bo towards me so he wouldnt jump out after the deer. hes chased them b4 and will chase them until he relizes they are faster then he is..lol

There is just something about an unmolested origianl owner Jeep. I like it!

That on is a keeper!

That's awesome he's had that YJ for so long. Looks like it could use a little TLC but over all it looks great for the year, and what it's made to do.

there were parts in that road you wouldnt have been able to go thru in your van..lol..i didnt get any pics of it, but a lot of the road was about 8 inch deep sand that you needed 4WD to get thru...i stopped in one sand drift to take a picture of something else, and spund all four tires trying to get out...lol. kinda worried me for a second

lol..its cool bro..i didnt think you were calling me a wuss..lol..but yea, i love driving up and down dirt roads....everytime i see one when im driving some where, my curiousity goes thru the roof...i just want to go explore.

lol...well i asked my dad if he thought my car would make it down that trail, and he was like, youd better take my jeep..lol..i learned how to drive a stick in that jeep and love the way that 4.2 engine sounds..it doesnt have as much juice as the 4.0, but i like it
