Smoking deal on a winch!!!

I picked up a new winch today for the price of a 24 pack! It's a Warn 9.5Ti with winch plate, roller fair lead and a synthetic line and a hook!

And yes, it works.

I sold the tube frame to buy my laptop. I miss it but have another more realistic build in progress. With a 3-link front with pan hard bar and c-channel frame.

Here is a size comparison photo.

I thought that looked small.

I do very little at a time so it's not such a money shock. The winch is the first thing I bought in a couple of months.

I plan on buying or making some tube bumpers for it and putting a brushless motor in it for some high speed desert racing.

It's a rock crawler, so it's meant to be slow... but I want mine fast!

These look sick, so where do you start if you wanna get into these? I was looking at the site you got the picture from and all I saw they had was tires bodies and stuff but not full kits.

I wanna build one of these, make a Cherokee like mine

The easiest way to do it is buy one of these: RPP Hobby - Our Service Rocks!

And then buy a charger, battery & Cherokee body for it. Easily $400 to get you started.

Damn, I wish I could justify spending that kind of money on yet another hobby... lol

Guitar/a band, paintball, Jeeps, and a girlfriend are enough for now

Ditch the paintball, that gets boring, and it hurts.

My body should be here tomorrow. I got the frame and everything all situated. I'm waiting on one more electrical component so that I don't fry my steering servo, then I'll wire everything up and test it out. Then I'll mount up the body and have some fun.

How do you consider your hand a GF? I could see buying hand lotion for the calluses but that can't be more then 5 bucks every 2 weeks
