That's a beautiful LEGO jeep man... It makes me so sad that LEGOs are passe now. I remember when I was a kid, the whole entire toy section at Wal-Mart was LEGOs practically. But I guess brightly colored pieces of plastic you can put together isn't as cool as killing people on your Xbox eh? Who knew you could feel this nostalgic at 21?!

Something tells me he's gonna wreck due to difficulties seeing the road... unless he drives with his head out the window

Elijah, amen dude... I'm almost 25 and grew up around legos. I didn't have a huge collection, but my friend had thousands...we used to build everything under the sun out of them. We had one of those little car tracks with the little electric cars that were remote controlled and we built a ramp with it and then built lego wings on our cars trying to make them fly (or the best was making lego planes and attaching them to the ceiling fan....). It's amazing these days...its rare to see kids leave the house anymore.

It used to be, "Don't get hit by any cars...you shouldn't be playing in the street anyway!" as you were leaving the house. Now it's, "Don't kill too many people and don't forget to take a break and rest your eyes every so often."

I'm thinking he may be too young for a wench.

I used to have enough to make a 1ft x 1ft tower almost 4ft tall with windows and doors, and a roof... 23 and I miss my legos...

I remember having a submarine with a pnuematic claw. I figured out how to turn it into a water gun one time when I had it apart... that was fun...

Nice Jeep!

Legos aren't passe... My now 12 year old still builds the most amazing creations with them.. He loves them, and always has at least a dozen things he's built decorating his room at any given time...

Awesome job on the Jeep. My daughter and I used to spend hours and hours sitting in the floor playing with them. I miss those days.

Exactly. I was a space and aircraft engineer myself. I swear you could have patented the stuff me and my buddies made...
I blame childhood obesity on 3.2 ghz gaming machines that make orgasms in the prefrontal cortexes in the minds of 11 and 12 year old kids.

Love how they give you some serious mudders for tires in lego sets.

Same with my son. He's 10 and still loves them. Heck, they're all over the place here. Sadly, I think Santa's gonna get him a PS3 this year.

I too am getting my kids nerf guns for Christmas. I love having kids, it gives an adult the perfect excuse to be able to act like a kid every once in a while without judgment.
