bummer...all in all though it sounds like it was a great season and he seems like he's got more playing days ahead of him. Good luck & keep us posted on his future plans and games. Like hearing about it. It takes me back to when BT was playing.

that's what's funny....we don't know exactly how he ended up on their radar. I do have ties to the University. I did attend the University with the assistant coach (20 years prior but we never kept in touch nor were we that close, nor did I play soccer), HOWEVER, I was never in contact with him or the University regarding him playing soccer. We thought his best shot at playing collegiate ball was to walk-on as a kicker (he was the kicker for his high school football team as well). He called me as I was leaving work one day at the end of his senior year..."you'll never guess who just called me"...I knew the name immediately. He said they want to come up and sign me! So it's still a bit of a mystery. He did send a letter expressing interest, but I find it hard to believe they would sign him sight unseen, based on just a letter of interest or because a coach knew me 20 years prior. However it happened, we're both thankful for the experience.

I told BT before he went to play, the best guy you've ever played against...the other teams you play have a roster full of him at that level. Instead of 1 or 2 guys you have to stop...it's ALL of them. The talent at that level is amazing.

I've only ever seen the MLS, EPL and international matches. How does the Serie A stack up against the likes of Man U and Arsenal?

As a Chelsea fan...how do you feel about jose? Do you think he got a shot at a title this year?

Ok. He finished the season with 14 goals, 8 assists, and made 1st team all league. Then it was a split decision for offensive player of the year for league between him and his buddy, the captain of the team who fed him all those balls. Luis got it.

Sounds like a good time! Wish him luck for me.

Is anyone else stoked about the world cup this year?

I'm a huge football fan! I support Manchester United, PSG, Real Madrid , Bayern Munich. Internationally I support Ireland naturally but the didn't make the dance so I'm torn between the US and Colombia
