soft top FJ crusier

Was leaving work the other day when I saw an FJ heading in the opposite direction and did a double take when I saw that the driver had the top folded down and was just crusing along... now from what I know Jeep is the only four by four that does this. has anyone ever seen one before? is toyota making a grab for the title? sorry about the no pic but I was kind of in shock.

Anything can be made into a convertible. Afaik, Wranglers, are the only convertible 4x4 currently in production. But there were other Jeeps, and Bronco's, Scouts, Samuri's, Trackers, Blazers and H1's.... Those are all I can think of at the moment.

It must have been a one off custom. I had an FJ before the jeep and would spend some time on the FJ forums. Some said Toyota were talking about offering the FJ in a soft top...but nothing ever came of it. It was also widely rumored that weren't going to be any 2011 FJ's....who knows.
