Software for pic editing?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this thread -

What picture editor do you all use in order to resize a picture down to an acceptable file to upload on WF? I can't seem to get my larger pictures edited down and had to use an outside link.

Thanks for the help! (Mods, if I posted in the wrong place, can you please move the post?)

I just used the Microsoft Photo Editor that pops up when I double click on one of my photo's.

i have photoshop on my comp. it does about everything with pics. very handy.

I use photoshop 7 but it is very expensive. The newer version is photoshop CS2 and is about $700. You can get a lite version called Photoshop Elements for about $100. It will do alot of the same things. Griz
