Good rap songs? LOL. Those have been extinct since the 80s and were very rare then. No Sleep Til Brooklyn is what I play when I want my mirrors to jump, but I don't have much of a selection of (c)rap.

Looks like we're the same generation. I don't listen to rap much anymore, but used to play 'Boyz 'n the hood' by Easy-E to push the subs to their limit. I remember having a 'bass enhanced' version that was pretty obnoxious, make the windows rattle.

I agree...in high school, my buddy had a system in his Grand Am and played that cd, "DJ magic mike make the car go boom"... It would distort your vision and I couldn't stand it but it was actually a nice massage sitting in the back seat. Probably a factor in my hearing loss as I grow older...

Or try Bass Mekanic. You can usually download it. It's bass rich. Usually used in Competitions. Atleast the specific tones are. They have music, too.

I learned about it in college. Best track I remember was a bass tester. Covered all frequencies. But I also remember the track you mentioned.

Really?

There is no such thing as a GOOD RAP SONG.

It will be a GOOD day when there are no more RAP SONGS produced.

The only RAP SONG that sounds GOOD is the one that isn't playing.

RAP SONGS are no GOOD.

It's a GOOD thing there isn't a RAP SONG playing right now.

I hate it when someone makes a perfectly GOOD radio sound like crap by playing a RAP SONG on it.

when I was playin' in a band last, we would play Snoop Dogg's Drop it like its hot (explicit) and we had a few cabs with 22" whoofers made of kevlar and over 5,000 watts of power between all of our boxes. Made the band sound great but when we would hit that snoop song between sets, the low bass parts would litterally shake your pant legs if you were within 10-15 feet of our subs.

I love me some Prong!!

For good, hard-hitting bass that's isn't rap, try Metallica's And Justice For All....
Korn also had some pretty bass heavy songs.
Beastie Boys, Outkast and Cee Lo are about all the rap I can handle.

damn there some haters here lol!!! i USED to like rap, have grown out of it a bit but i had 4 12" audiobahns in my camry and a JLW6V2 in my volvo powered by a Boss PD4000, and some good rap songs for 12"s-

depending what you like mexican rap or black rap-

mexican-
this is by FAR the hardest hitting song- (besides bass mekanics and techno anyway)

heres another good one, used to play this one while in the school parkin

and black rap-

this one hits HARD-

(ok hes not black lol)

now if you really want bass try some bass mekaniks-

all those can be found on frostwire

I don't hate on rap, I just don't see how you can be a grown man, with a wife and/or kids, and listen to that stuff, much less take it seriously. MOST modern rap is a blueprint on how to be the worst human being possible. It's all about glorifying a materialistic lifestyle, and I don't understand how people find happiness in that. I'd rather listen to a Metal song about Viking legends than a rap song about gold chains, big rims, and treating women like trash. I especially don't see how women can enjoy it. But to each their own. Sorry if it comes off as too serious, but I am serious about my music.
