Spooky.

I just witnessed the worst hr and half of weather since I was a little boy.I watched 3 ft tall corn go flat on the ground 5 miles outside of town.My pick-up was shaking so bad I almost crapped myself.Towns northwest of me has endured bad damage, confinements flattened. There is a report of one 1200 head unit completely destroyed.I know this isn't proper to say till all the facts are in,but what a tremendous rush being under it.Hell have no fury like mother nature in full swing.

Glad you're ok, hope the damage isn't too bad. Mother Nature can be one sickeningly scary lady, when she's cranky!

Was it a straight line wind or a tornado? They are both evil forces!

Isn't it fun living in Tornado Alley? I chase those storms as much as I can. You're right, it's a helluva rush!!! (Central Kansas here, so lots of tornadoes already this season....) The only thing I don't like about these storms is the hail. It does so much damage to everything.

Am I ok?Hell I was storm chasin!I watched one form(tornado)so I ran south a mile and watched another form right next to it.The scary part is,you can't see nothing till it lightnings.
There was no way I'd have my jeep in that stuff,my truck is sportin a new dent from last nite.It got brite and I saw the corn standing.Abit later it got brite and all the corn infront of me was laying flat with hardly any wind. That freaked me out.I guess the red cross is set up now in sibley and rock rapids,a dozen homes damaged, families homeless. They were asking for able bodied folks to help search for victims trapped last nite.14 fire and rescue depts called in from iowa and minn.
I thought about going up there, but I wouldn.t want onlookers checking out my stuff scattered everywhere. There will be enough of that going on for some time.

Tornadoes suck. We had one 5 years ago, killed 24 people, and damaged hundreds of homes and buildings... Roads closed for weeks, power out for days... Stuff scattered everywhere for miles... Not fun at all... Sorry you have to go through this, but I'm guessing since you're still online that your stuff and people are all ok...

All caused by that "Global Raining" phenomenon.

Its simple to finger out.The Oblama administration is sending planes into the northern part of the midwest, dumping special pills that create rain, thus filling the waterways to run thru the missouri and mississippi to flush out the gulf,to increase shrimp sales duh.
