stick to the topic quit hijacking social stuff belong elsewhere

I read this forum on my phone a lot, it seem there is no end to social conversations starting within every thread. Perhaps a social link or using a PM so the two people conversing could converse without everyone else having to read. Its kind of irritating to get two pages of non topic discussion on a slow download when your looking for specific information. Saying sorry to the op for hijacking just adds another post to ignore and is really untruthful.

Kind of what I was thinking...posting in the JK section about something totally irrelevant to JKs

So what size tires do I need? What cai should I buy for the best performance? Will my 40's fit with no issues with just a leveling kit? What kind of mileage should I expect.... And damn it, please stay on topic!......................I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. It does get frustrating when some get so off-topic but it usually makes for good reading and info.

And while we are on the soap box...
How about keeping the Sig to 100 characters or less. Nothing mote aggravating than trying to read relevant info in a post and having to scroll past those long sigs that list every mod someone has ever done to their Jeep.

good idea about sig line fixed mine, posted in JK forum because I read JK forum and thats where I read everything from soup to nuts in every topic, Never a bad idea to get laid, but that is off topic. Just saying if the thread is about xyz and you are asking a poster about another topic pm it or something. If it is relevant to the group start a thread, if its relevant to the topic post away. Nothing ruins a good internet forum like a few local members having a personal chat on every topic. Flame away I think I can take it.

But it wasn't ABOUT JKs, so it was in the wrong area. The mods moved it because it was a general discussion topic, so it belongs in general discussion. It may have been where you intended it to be, but that wasn't the correct place.
