I had a doctors appointment early this morning,
but afterwards I decided to play hookie instead of going back to work.
Taking the pooch out to the mountains,
and chill'n in the trees just seemed like a better idea to me for some crazy reason.
By the time I arrived, there were already people out there of course.
They had a dog too, so rather than chancing a fight,
I just stopped to say hi and ask if there were any people further up the mountain that had dogs.
They said no, so I proceeded up the trail.
Next thing I know they're screaming at the top of their lungs,
"No No...Stop...You Won't Make It Up That!"
I just grinned and waved.
The trail up there WAS a bit hairy,
and I'd be a damn liar if I told you that my butt didn't pucker a couple of times.
BUT I MADE IT!
It's situations like these that make me proud to be a Jeep owner.
On my way back down, I just grinned and waved again.
