Successful parenting

Today my daughter graduated high school. Now she has just 45 days and it's off to Ft Jackson, SC for basic training and then to Aberdeen Proving Gound, Maryland for her job training. I'll tell ya, her senior year was a battle. Her grades suffered earlier this year but once she realized the negative affect of not graduating she turned it around and still pulled off a B average. Not an honor role student but I'm proud none the less.

For you guys graduation this year or with kids graduating, congrats.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president."

Congrats KegOBeer. My oldest had a couple of rocky years but ended up graduating several months early this past March. It was a relief.... that I didn't have to kill him.

Oooh! Aberdeen Proving Grounds is right up the road from me. As well as Fort Mead and the other level 5 bio-chemical lab in the Baltimore/DC area. Good place to be I guess, but real expensive and horrible politics.

Anyway, tell her thank you for her service, and good luck at Aberdeen. Tell her to make sure she pays attention to the dressing into your bio suite drill real well I have heard some credible stories from employees at Aberdeen and Meade etc. and there is some crazy stuff going on in there...

Lets just say from what I have heard, "I am Legend" and "Omega Man" are a joke now a days

The summer following my graduation (2006) was a tad boring. Once 2007 rolled arond, then it got interesting!
