Sugar in Fuel Power Improvement ?

Hey guys, I just heard about this thing, I heard that adding Sugar to the Gas improves power on the engine. It makes sense since sugar is a type of fuel, you know, Sugar Molecule is Similar to the Gas Molecule. I wonder if anybody here has tried it. Dyno Test anyone ? Experiences ?
I feel like I should try it some time.

Sugar molecules are about as closely related to the hydrocarbons found in gasoline as a human being is to a flatworm.
Yes both contain lots of carbon and hydrogen, but the similarities end there.

I don't usually trust Snopes, but they have some interesting info about sugar in a fuel tank. I'd always heard of the revenge/prank/whatever, but I've never heard of anyone claiming sugar adds power.

I've heard that sugar is also great additive for the blinker fluid.

...and I've heard that bullets relieve headaches really well, too.
