Backpacking in N. New Mexico sounds great. I’ve always wanted to hit the San Pedro Parks wilderness area.

Is this just an urban legend or is it for real? Who would give up one of their stones?

Mrs. oldgus, doggy oldgus, and I are renting a 28' class C motor home and travelling around Michigan for two weeks. We'll camp at state camp grounds and spend a few days in Mackinaw.

Two weeks away form work, kids, grand kids, babysitting, computers, TVs etc and just relax and get to know each other again.

If everything goes right it'll be the cabin every weekend for about 7 months. Typical day is fishing, Breakfast, beer, fishing then whiskey and sleep.................repeat. <except for hunting season.

It has been a long difficult winter here in the NE and I am not a big fan of cold weather, so I am looking forward to summer. I am moving to a new apartment July 1st, but mostly just work, enjoying my jeep and saving some money so I can finish customizing it.

  • Vegas for 4 days
  • PNW Trail Jam in July for a week of wheelin' and sunshine.

Rockin the Rivers @ The Bridge in Montana in August
Intermixed with local wheeling and Flyfishing
Then work a crap load of OT to pay for it all.
