Thanks
And thank god I'm not the only one who had issues with the word "member" under my name. I was pretty stoked when I found out that I could change it.... then they went and put "supporting member" under my name. I think that's worse. Brings to mind a jock. Not a pretty picture. (kidding, kidding, I'm just kidding, don't be messing with it you troublemakers)

<---I had to ask!!!

Tiny, it could say "Member supporter". Watch what you ask for. I'm now a fish.

Yep, I'm Lisa. Very happy to do it, and we're glad you thought of it.

I wonder what our soldiers will think of Building The Legend (Jim Allen's military jeeps series) now that they buzz around in humvees...

Wish we were bringing them home instead.

Hi Lisa. I can tell you from experience that unfortunately jeeps don't have enough room for all the junk that has to be carried in the humvee. It would be cool though to blast through the streets of Bagdhad in a TJ with a 50 caliber mounted up top. The humvee (gun truck version) can carry 5 battle ready troops with all their gear in the trunk.

I'm sure you're right, and what a pity. No way you'd get five soldiers and all their gear in a Wrangler. Now...maybe if it was an Unlimited, with small soldiers and just one day's rations...

I know this thread is about supporting the troops, but I really want to pimp J Rations to all of yall. They have continuosly been a supporter for us. Not only have they provided free magazines for WF in the Costume Contest, but now they have graciously provided us with a load of J Rations to provide for the men and women that are deployed.

I encourage all of yall to pick up a copy. I promise that you would not be disappointed.

Update. I'm forwarding the magazines I have collected to texapple and khenderson as they have collected way more than I have. I personally have a couple hundred mags that I am sending on to them and they have collected a much bigger chunk of them.

J Rations has also sent me two big boxes of them. That is awesome.

Thanks to all for the support of this.

We'll have to check into that, Icehole. I spent quite a bit more than that to ship them off today. It's all good though.

Thanks for your service, my friend. I speak for the entire staff when I tell you that we appreciate you very much.

Icehole, what shipper are you talking about (UPS, USPS, etc.), and what is a flat rate box? Shipping costs are killing us at J Rations.

Hey, I made it back from the deplyoment and want to thank you all for showing your support for all of us who wear the uniform by collecting and shipping magazines across the pond. I was on my way back home before they began arriving, but I can tell you that they are and will be greatly appreciated. I had a hard time finding offroad mags and an even harder time finding mags with Jeeps! Amerijeep emailed my wife and mentioned the idea to her. THANK YOU AMERIJEEP AND EVERYONE ELSE, making this concept become a reality. Thank all for showing that you not only bleed RED, but also WHITE and BLUE!!!! I am greatful for your support for those of us wearing the uniform and giving us the will to fight another day!

Rigger, As Mr. Clifford stated in another thread. Whatever we did for you all doesn't even come close to comparing the level of love and devotion that you have shown to your country and it's citizens. Freedom has a price and sir I thank you for helping us keep our freedom.
