Best of luck and have a quick, easy recovery. I hope all went well, cherokee.

well, all done. the nurse that was getting me ready for the surgery actually wrote "yes" on my left shoulder, and "no" on the right one...guess they do make sure the correct one is worked on.

all went well, better than expected even. they didn't have to shave any bone, but the tear was larger than thought, so more repair on that aspect of it. i don't have to wear the brace thing from elbow to my side since they did not shave bone. i am in a cast / sling though for 2 weeks minimum. pain level from 1 - 10...about 7 at the moment. he gave me some oxycodone pain pills, and some pill for muscle spasms...what a combo...la la land about 5 minutes after taking them. ok..need to go lay down now.

Are you lucid enough to check out all the other parts??? Oh well, at this point, you probably wouldn't care.

Speedy recovery.

All other parts in-tact, and functioning well. I told the wife this morning that "relations" would make for a speedy recovery...lets just say I got a nice dose of speedy recovery. I actually forgot about the pain for a whole 3.5 minutes!!!

Doesn't that make you feel just great about your choice of doctors

Glad things went well Cherokee. Think you're going to recover enough for the Meet and Great or is it a no go?

Not sure yet. I have to go back to see the Dr. in 10 days to get the stitches out ect. I will find out then if it is OK or not. Honestly...it does not look too promising.

Every time I had to deal with some kind of injury, it always seemed that the 3rd day was the worst, and then it started getting better from them.

Here is to a fast recovery bud.

You should probably switch off to the other side then... You need to take it easy.

Good luck on your recovery.
