Well my wife and I went to the squadron Christmas party last night and had a great time (few pints of Guinness ) All in all it was one of the best Christmas parties I've been to. AND my wife won a door prize. A new Nikon CoolPix L18 8 Megapixel camera. NICE!! The other prizes were an ipod and a Wii.
Ohh...and Elvis made a special appearance and sang us a song about some shoes. Pics courtesy of my wife's new camera.

Yes but this was nothing like a typical squadron party. It was actually a very nicely done. There was none of that "acting a certain way because the commander and all them were there". We all had a blast. You would have liked it. The base is so small that when you go to events and parties there is usually only a few people you "don't know" so its cool. Things are VERY laid back here.
