Talking Picture Shows

Whats a movie or two that you love and that no one else has really seen? Maybe a rental suggestion?

Mine would have to be .

Its a very difficult story to tell without ruining most of the film and funny parts, but the trailer does a good job.

Below, a horror set in a WWII sub. Great flick.

El Espinazo del Diablo (the Devil's Backbone), another horror, set in Spain (yes, it's subtitled) at the end of a civil war. Fantastic.

Haven't seen it yet, but it's the same director (Torro) as Devil's Backbone. I love foreign films, especially the horror genre.

Equilibrim was very good. Matrix but better, and the fight scenes are hot

Equalibrium, world without emotion... a Better Living through Chemisty warning. Good film. Definitely better than Matrix... but that could be due to the Christian Bale factor.

I just thought of a couple. Layer Cake and Archangel. Both with Daniel Craig (before he was Bond). Great movies.

I agree, Abbott & Costello rule !

One that I've seen a couple of times as a kid on Saturday morning matinee or sometime like that "Revolt of the Barbarians". Have looked for it, but haven't ever found it on video.

There is a Japanese film called "Battle Royale" about a class of students who are supposed to fight each other off to the death. Kinda comedic at some points but a pretty good movie.

Final Countdown----made in the 80's about a modern war ship that goes into a storm and ends up back in time right before the Pearl Harbor attack. Lots of stars in this movie.
