Not a fan of Taurus, and I have no experience with that little guy.

I got a couple friends that used to work for a gun store, and do some research on the net first. Thefiringline, thehighroad etc.

Taurus revolvers aint half bad, and I have heard their 1911s aren't horrible either. On par with RIAs I guess. But their polymers, like the 24/7..garbage. Its a crap shoot if you ever get a nice one, and the triggers are horrible. I messed with 2 24/7s, but jammed/didnt feed properly, and the triggers were crap.

My CCW is a Taurus Millennium PT145. It has never failed or jammed at the range and it is fairly abused as I don't clean it as often as I should. Solid weapon.

Taurus has really stepped up their game along the lines of quality. There was a time when you couldn't have given me a Taurus but they've came into their own in the past several years.

When I went to the range on my b-day I shot a friends Millenium PT-111 9mm. Sweet gun. For a 9mm it had a good bit of recoil, kind of surprised by it. Played with a Glock 19C, peice of junk. Few other .45's and 9mm. I've always liked Taurus pistols. Had a PT-92 for a long time, shot real nice. Created a PT-92 message board when I bought it, damn thing still gets post on it (up t December) now and then from all over the world. http://www.network54.com/Forum/47610/

I've been wanting one of those for CCW, mainly b/c their cheap. But been slow to do so, b/c I hated my 24/7 .40 and couldn't wait to get rid of it. Didn't truly know how crappy it was until I shot a XD, and Berretta for the first time.

i have the Taurus Millenium in the 45 and the wife has the 9mm. we both like them. i would recommend either. i also have the Taurus 1911, but i like the compact a little better. i grew up a s&w guy but taurus has come a long way in my book, especially for the $$$$.

try gunbroker.com sometimes you can pick one up cheaper than $366.00
