That's to bad. I don't even know yet if I can make it. Was just posting for a friend trying to get a group together.

Hidden Falls

How much interest is there in setting a date for a long weekend trip to Hidden Falls? Preferably before it gets hot outside. Am thinking a Thurs night - Sun morn timeframe.
Mike and I went in January and we had a great time. We camped there and it was great.
Personally, I have upgraded my lights (not to Tom levels) so that I can do more night jeeping there.
Maybe some time in April or May.. so everyone can plan for this and ask for a day or two off from work.

Just post up with your thoughts.

Dana

It's cloudy again. I agree it needs to pour! I love the rain. Rain season started two months early this year so that's a good thing.

Hey guys, Where is hidden falls?, what is it like? New to your thread here. Tried to get a few guys together up here in the panhandle, but not much luck on wrangler forum. So I ran into a couple of other jeep guys around here and we started Panhandle Jeep Coalition and it exploded to over 100 members, but realistically about 12-15 solid guys that are active.

There was a pretty good sized group that went in Jan. Mike, Jack and I went from DFWvCrawlers. It was awesome, had a great time. Am trying to get another group together for April or May. Before it gets too hot. It a few miles outside of Marble Falls.

That does look awesome. Thats a haul for me being 70 mi NE of Amarillo. We are putting together a group to go to Red River, NM in Aug. Wont be hot there even then. If you are ever up this way, we have some pretty good wheeling on the canadian river. Very diverse, Mud, Just trails and some challenging rock crawling. Everyone is always welcome at any of our outings. Thanks
