Transformers (the real ones, not the crap movie ones), GI Joe (again, the real ones) are my favorite things from the 80's.

Too many memories that would not be appropriate for this forum. But as far as pop culture goes, just about everything from the 80s brings back fond memories. I always wanted a BMX bike as a kid, but my mom would never let me have one...she was afraid I would get hurt. Let's see her try to stop me now in my Jeep! I could recite just about every line from Fast Times and Breakfast Club. I find it interesting that my pop culture and music knowledge seem to end at about 1989.

ugh, so did i.
i was also into thundercats, jayce and the wheeled warriors (props if you know that one!!), m.a.s.k. and a few others.

the 80's greatest contribution to my life was definitely the nintendo entertainment system.

on the BMX thing, i had a couple of dyno bikes. my first was a vfr, then i had 2 compes. i loved those bikes.
i had buddies who had gt performers. they were all heavy and crappy.

and i was HUGE into r/c cars. i had a bunch. a tamiya blackfoot, tamiya midnight pumpkin, kyosho ultima, traxxas sledgehammer, tamiya hi-lux, tamiya bullhead (just sold it, all original and barely used a couple of years ago), bolink on road car, radio shack golden arrow (that thing was fast, but there were no hop up parts for it).
i've been wanting to get back into them. half the fun was building them!!

i've had every '80s freestyle bike know to man. some of the the ones i miss the most are probably my hutch trick star, my skyway street beat and my kuwahara bravo sport cali edition

my skyway didn't feature the hot model option

this is the only kuwahara i can find on the net that had my paint

I had a GT also, right before the gyro came out....but I sold it to get into skateboarding instead. Glad I still have my redline though....might have to restore it one of these days.

Your gonna make me go out to storage and snap a pic arent ya? lol...dad repainted mine and changed the decals somewhere around 84 and I hated them. I have seen repops on ebay for the older style so when I get around to redoing it, I will have the correct ones

Anybody still have their cassette tapes? I still have over 300 cassettes and nothing to play them in. Can't stand the thought of throwing away all that good music!
