The Kids Wore Me Out This Weekend!

So I went to Kentucky to see the grandkid this weekend. My daughter and her husband had a "few" little jobs they needed done around the house. I replaced all the exterior lighting fixtures on the house. Installed a set of low voltage landscaping lights across the front. Pulled out about 10 rose bushes from their landscaping. Planted some Purple Cone Flowers, Shasta Daisies, and Blackeyed Susans to replace the rose bushes. Built a bed around the mailbox and planted Purple Salvia and Coreopsis in that bed. Leveled some low places in the yard. And made some killer omelets for breakfast Saturday morning.

I'm gonna be happy to get back to work tomorrow!

They know they have a hook to get me over there regularly. (Can't stand to go too long with out seeing my "Sweet Pea"!) I fear the next time I go, the back yard is going to need some attention!

They at least took me over to the country club Saturday night for a Clam Bake. We had lobster, shrimp, oysters, scallops, king crab, and ahi tuna.
