you could always start cooking really tasty things, and if she ever asks for some tell her that, if she wants some she can make it.

although i can see that not going so well, so maybe its not the best idea..

you poor, poor child. all that money on fancy college classes, and you still cant cook. you should get your mom to teach you, it would be a great "bonding experience" for the 2 of you. or at least thats what you could tell her.

tell me about it
I'm really feeling it too, I'm paying for two classes.
You ready for college numbers?
2 classes = $2300
Books for those 2 classes = $500
Parking Pass: $600

just another day in the life... and you wonder why college students are broke

said recipe: How To Make Nacho Cheese Sauce | How To Cook Like Your Grandmother

i also added diced green peppers and diced cajun sausage.

yeah, if I would give anyone advice, it is to go to CC first, and do all of your gen eds, then switch. My whole first 2 semesters were just gen eds, nothing to do with my major. It is a waste of a year

yeah, community college is pretty cool for just getting the basics out of the way. that and trying random classes that a 4 year college may not normally offer.

Nice garden you have there. What are you growing?

Thanks JD. Closest to us on the right I have three bell pepper plants. Then eight Better Boy tomato plants. After that there are two short rows of okra. In the center row are black eyed peas. The two rows on the left are Merit sweet corn. This is the first garden I have ever grown. That's why we're starting out so small. We've lived in this house not quite a year yet and there was so much to do moving in and all that there was no time to grow one last year.

P.S. I just woke up sitting in my computer chair. I hate trying to turn around from midnights to days every weekend. I don't feel good until Sunday, which is my first night back to work.

I wish that I could plant a garden, but I am on such a steep elevation that everything I plant ends up washing into the creek behind my house. The upside is that I don't have to worry about floods.

JD,
sorry to hear that. There is a line of huge pines behind my fence. Dad told me he didn't think I could get a garden to grow there. I've done a lot of tree trimming on my side and so far my garden looks great. His and several people I work with have had to be replanted because of heavy rains here.

I love cutting/raking hay. Good times. Also, I did a search and this was the top result. Back to searching.

I'm sorry to say I never found it plausable that you could fly a MD 500 through a train tunnel at 100+ Kts. I did enjoy the movie though.

^ It's the whole idea behind the movie, Mission Impossible... to pilot a chopper through a train tunnel.

there is a simple solution to that. planter boxes that level out. the neighbors do that and have had a good bit of success with it. pitty that they only grow tomatoes
