Invest in a torque wrench. For the cost of 2 sockets you can get a decent one.

i need the impact to break the part loose. so far a 1/2" breaker bar with a 3 foot cheater pipe on it did nothing, my 18v impact driver did nothing, so next step is a numatic impact gun. the PB Blaster has not helped much either.
i would love to have this socket meant for use on an impact gun, but they dont exsist. its a specialty tool.

I was the same way getting the nut off my front axle. The neighbor came home and I borrowed his impact gun. Took 2 seconds to get it off. Now I'm looking for air tools too.

Gotcha. I have a 6 foot piece of antenna mast that I use as a "persuader".

best money i ever spent was on air tools,,, no more busted knuckles. i even bought an air drill,, you would not believe how freaking awesome that think is. batt never dies and i never have to break out an extension cord
