Yes it does. I've seen a 5.9L 6BT in a TJ before.

Nope. I know a bit about Cummins engines. We have them in some of our vehicles. They are easy to work on and they sound so much better.

the 3.0 diesel v6 that went into the grand cherokee for a bit can go into a jk, some one did it at sema last year i think

Jeff's Dodge has a big diesel in it, so that would be Cummins right? it's a 24 valve, sounds very cool, I would just love my Jeep to sound like that

very true, and if u go with a 12 v engine, there really isnt much as far as electrical goes that u would have to do for the engine

My 5.9 12 Valve is already sitting on a stand at the shop. One of the trucks got wrecked and we kept the truck..

Tell me why diesels smoke so much is it dirty injectors? Jeff's seems to smoke more when he has his chip on different setting, like RACE which is stupid

It's adding more fuel...lots more. Nothing to do with dirty injectors.

all that black smoke is unburned fuel i think. or its soot, im having trouble remembering for some reason. its common with alot of the ultra high power diesel trucks
