The ultimate freedom

Today has been an awesome day. I woke up and went to buy a torx bit that will take my doors off, finally! When I came back to the house, my 'sister' and her husband were at the house taking the top off his Unlimited. They were going to go cave hiking and she had convinced him to take the top and doors off his rig for the FIRST TIME EVER!! And he's had his for a few years now. It was an epic moment! Perfect timing too, since I was taking my doors off and rolling out to the coast for a long joyride.

The ultimate freedom is a completely open Wrangler, cruising down the road with the wind whipping around you, the sun beating down on your body, your cowboy boot hanging out the side as you drive, and good music blasting. These are things I never take for granted in honor of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Nice. I got rained on for the first time today. I didn't care. The looks from other drivers was worth it.

!!!! haha yes. I agree.
I woke up to a thunderstorm the other night, wasn't sure if it was going to be done raining or not when I woke up for work a few hours later, and said 'screw it' and went to work as is! It worked out in my favor but I didn't care either way.

I wish I lived somewhere that had a less wet spring and a longer summer. Oregon summers are amazing but they are not nearly long enough and we pay dearly for the weather we do get with all the rain. Though I'm quickly getting used to not caring about driving nekkid at 2 am when it's cold as you know what!
