repackaged marxism. but its kinda weird, drastic changes needed to be made a long time ago, but no one was doing it. so the government is turning this country into a socialist society, times are strange.

My thoughts Exactly.

It's scary how much this administration is doing to "Change" this country and how fast they're doing it.

Bob Lutz is "retiring" as well. He is "advising" until the end of the year, than he is out. Bob Lutz is one of, if not THE best things going for GM. Such a shame

As a rule, I don't like the government telling business what to do, but if you were going to a bank to ask for money to stay out of bankrupcy, there would be strings attached to that too... GM is not forced to make a change. They just need to if they would like the government's money!

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

Typically any majority share holder has a voice in how things get done. Remember he stepped down. He was not forced out.

Nevertheless, I imagine he would have been ousted by GM. Either oust Wagoner, or get no more funds...you pick.

That is usually the way it works when a hostile takeover comes about. The CEO and staff get replaced. I get the fear of all powerful government but if we bail these asshats out we should get some say, even if it is through an elected official. I don't want to pay for proxy ballots sent to every taxpayer so they can throw them away.
