These shocks good for flexing?

So my current setup is a 4" teraflex basic lift, 1" teraflex aluminum body lift, rancho rs5000 steering stabilizer, and pro comp es3000 shocks. I was looking for some new shocks on quadratec today and I found a package that's 4 rancho rs9000xl shocks and a rancho rs5000 steering stabilizer. It says it's for a 3-4" lift. Would that be good for flexing? Here's the shock kit http://www.quadratec.com/products/16019_9906.htm

off the shelfgood for 4in lift shocks are meh for flex. the ranchos are know for being a very poor shock choice (i've run them and hated them) your best bet is to take out your shocks and fully compress your suspension on one side then measue it. next fully extend that side and measure. then work from there. or set it up for more down travel then up ect. there is a lot going on to get a TJ or any rig to flex well

As long as the shocks match your compressed and extended measurements, they'll perform the same when you're flexing whether it's a $30 shock or $300 shock.

Then why don't competition rock crawlers run $30 shocks?

If I had to guess I would say it's because they don't make $30 shocks with the stroke they need, but I'm new at this offroad thing.

'Cause rock buggies do more than drive up a tree stump and take pictures.
