So the reason I am posting a message at this ungodly early hour is that i was awoken at 3:00 AM because someone was breaking into my Jeep and my wife's PT Cruiser. I was able to scare them off, but after doing a search of both vehicles we relized that my son's gameboy and all his 15 games were stolen. He kept them in a little silver metal case.
Now I am pissed....
They can take stuff from me, but when they start messing with my kids stuff, is when I start to go off.
Funny thing is they did not get my GPS unit that was in the center console of the jeep.
I filed a case with the police, but I am not sure what good it is going to do.
Damn I am pissed....sorry folks, needed to vent.
Time for a security system for the jeep. Any suggestions??
03 TJ with a bunch of upgrades...
that sucks taz, i would get an alarm system with a two way pager that alerts you when your alarm is going off and has amotion sensor inside so if your top is down and someone reaches in it activates the alarm

It was stolen out of the PT. Wife forgot to lock the doors.
Also all valuables have been removed from both vehicles.
fair enough then
first call car insurance and see if contents are covered, if no go there call house insurance(long shot) but if it was in your driveway it may be covered.
Gameboy+ games may be ($) more than what your deductible is, if covered.
Not trying to be a smartass bub and I know you didn't sak to be thieved, but keep your valuables out of your cars and let insuracnce work like its supposed to, ie. a stollen vehicle or stollen property.
I am not sure about the garage, but I think i will get a tuffy console out of the deal and maybe a new side arm. Whoo hoo.
Kidding kind of, but we do not have enough room for a garage. Unless it comes with a new house.
That sucks that they "F" with your stuff...I grew up in an area where you could leave your keys in your vehicle and it took me a long time to get use to locking them up once I moved...We just bought another house a few months back and it has a small garage and I have been working on the better half to let me build a bigger garage...
Go with the Tuffy console..I had one in my 99' TJ and liked it alot...
