Think I Found My Next Toy

These are called "Trophy Karts" and are like 1/2 scale Trophy Trucks like the ones in CORR. They are freaking sweet!

They come with a 10, 18 or 52hp motor. Automatic CVT transmision. Tri-Link rear suspention, and A-Arms in the front with coil-overs at each corner allow 18" travel in the rear and 15" in the front. Only thing is the price, like everything else... a base model is $6000. I'm starting to save now!

They are avail to the public, but I havn't found any racing in Arizona. I'd really like to go test one out.

Here is a vid too.

I was reading on some forum, a 6'4" male weighing about 210 fit in one... and didn't realy have much bad to say. I'm 6'1" and only 175... so I'm in for sure!

I was reading about people wanting to swap in 150 and 250 honda dirt bike motors... but they don't make 52hp

The motor that comes "stock" in these things is a 256cc Subaru Robin motor that makes 10-12hp. That alone is more than enough to haul a$$ @ 500lbs(car is 350 + ~200lb driver).

I've been getting most of my info from here - http://www.race-dezert.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=16

AS for a larger engine, I think 50hp is enough
