Time travel

If you could step into a time machine and go to any year you wanted, what year would you go to and why?

2003, the year I bought my Jeep. I'd have gotten the Dana 44 in the rear.

I'd like to go back in time to 1994 and tell myself to remember 2 words; "Yahoo" & "Google"

I would destroy the time machine, because one thing different in time could change all of history as we know it.

Thats a good question that makes a person think. I could go back and see some of the greatest battles in History, or forward to see what will happen in my own lifetime. Honestly though, I would probably end up going back to July 4th, 1776 in Philadelphia to witness the approval of the Declaration of Independence.

~1860 and fight in the civil war (confederate of course )

Only thing I can think of worth going back in time for. Of course, bringing some modern day equipment would be nice too. Couple gernades, flashbangs, AR-15 in .50 beowolf, 1911, you get the idea

JCS05rubi, you beat me to it. i'd definately go back and fight in the civil war. of course with a few modern weapons. if not modern weapons, just the knowledge of modern weapons and tactics would be good enough. but i'd love to take my rugger m77 mark II with me.
