TJ/JK Hybrid!!!

Well, my daughter got her first Jeep from Santa this morning. Turns out, it's a JK and a TJ all at the same time. She loves it!

Looks more like a cj with tj fenders. I'm digging the center steering mod. Are those 11" bfg km2's? Where did she get the sweet aftermarket decal package? If she plans on wheeling it hard you may want to look into a full cage and a 5 point harness.

Pretty sure it's a cj5 if the doors are anything like ours ;-) 2 things.
1 mods are possible. And you(and she ) will want them before too long. More power( 2 batteries), lights ,ect.
2. Bed line the tires before they wear out too soon. GL merry christmas.

Second battery is on it's way. Actually doing the hand crank winch mod soon. As far as the tires, they're not gonna see pavement, she's a dirt kinda girl.

There are videos on Youtube showing how to take 12" BMX tires, cut the sidewalls and slide them over the Jeep wheel for great dirt traction. I plan to do this one for my daughter next Spring.

Actually, the Jeep came with what they call "traction bands" that are supposed to help with traction, but I'm betting that's more for pavement. I couldn't get a single one on, so I might try the BMX tires. This thing is going to end up being a money pit. LOL

She's going to be my little Jeepin' buddy. I took her for a ride in a friend's JKU this summer with the top down and she loved it. I'm still waiting on things to work out for me to get mine, but she's gonna be the one begging me to let the top down and take the doors off. Now I just have to figure out how to pull her hair into a ponytail.
