For the record; my top is still down/off.

RIP you don't win sh*t! I got wet so many times this Spring with the top off, I had mold growing in the cup holder! I should have stock in lysol! I kept trash bags in the console to put over the wet seats ( sometimes I actually made it first, before the rain) I've had the carpet out so many times, it doesn't take 15 minutes to put it back in. I was thinking about Rhino lining, prolly still will, but that doesn't remove the need for carpet, due to the heat from the floorboards...damn, ya just cant wear the "mandals" unless ya got the carpet in!

As soon as the nasty stuff stops for a couple of days, the top is back off! I got gloves, and my TJ's heater ROCKS! (have broken ice off the top to go topless) I would rather put more clothes on than drive with the top on. I get off work @ 2300 or later, the moon and the stars are so much clearer in the winter!

There is nothing like top and doors off, but right now it's too cold. But when my bike gets out of the shop I'll be riding it.

I LOVE my Jeep, but I'm still a biker Debruins. When you grow up you might understand.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that, this is the same kid who wants to marry his TJ, busting your balls about spending money on your bike...

I didn't make the headlight but it WAS handmade for me. I'm not THAT good. And it was expensive, but it made the bike. And I won't kill him, he'll grow up some day. My tattoo

Thats how my dad is. He had 3 types of cancers, had his stomache cut open MULTIPLE times, lived to tell about it with NO stomache muscles left at all. Can't even lift the trash out anymore, or he will get a hernia. So what did he do? Sold his BMW touring bike, and bought a Burgman 650, because the weight is lower on the bike, and he can still ride it Bikes are awesome, but the people are even better.

I have a harley (06 Vrsca) as well but guess what its put away. I love riding as well but there is no reason to ride when it is dangerous with ice and sand on the road.

WOW! The social aspect is almost as great as the ride itself. Just like Jeeps. That's why I like them.

I was headed to work yesterday but I had to stop to get fuel. A guy in a Jeep stopped at the pump right next to mine and we started talking about Jeeps and that evolved into motorcycles too. Turns out he rides... So for a good 10-15min we talked in the snow. That's how it is. THEY wouldn't understand.

And I don't ride in the snow. I will in the rain but prefer not to.
